Marine EC Company (the contractor providing accessories for submarine cables for the Tan Phu Dong 1 Wind Power Plant Project located in Go Cong Dong district, Tien Giang province) has just coordinated with other contractors and the authorities of 2 communes Tan Thanh and Tang Hoa (Go Cong Dong district) organized the “Tet Warm of Love 2023” charity program to give Tet gifts to disadvantaged families of the 2 communes; at the same time, handing over rural traffic bridges and support poor households to repair houses.
Accordingly, the program “Tet Warm of Love 2023” has handed over and put into use the rural traffic bridge across Cau Da canal at Cho hamlet, Tan Thanh commune. The bridge is 12 m long, 3 m wide, with a load of 4 tons, construction cost is 125 million VND. The company has also supported the construction and repair of 6 houses for poor households with housing difficulties; donate 20 health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances.
Throughout the charity program “Tet Warm of Love 2023”, Marine EC and other sponsors gave 70 gifts to poor households to enjoy spring and celebrate Tet. Each gift includes rice, necessities and cash worth 3 to 5 million VND. The total cost of the program’s charity activities in Go Cong Dong district is over 550 million VND, sponsored by organizations and individuals constructing Tan Phu Dong 1 wind power plant.
